I came upon an interesting article in Forbes Magazine about autonomous trucks. The writer is following the focus groups on the subject and there are some interesting things going on in the field. The article says the focus group states the realistic timeframe for the US to have autonomous trucks is 2024. That’s not too far off! One company states it will be as early as 2021. I recommend all of the trucking clients read this article.
