On July 1st, NAFTA was replaced with USMCA. Due to the pandemic, the border and production in Mexico has been very slow.
The pandemic is easing and the holiday season is coming up, so production is way up in automotive and retail sectors. Hence, rates to move freight from Mexico is at an all time high.
